Dematic has an exciting opportunity for a Simulation Consultant. In this position, you will be accountable for the implementation and configuration of computer-based material handling simulation models, to an agreed specification and time scale. Simulation analyses complex system solutions and helps to optimize them. You will contribute to project success significantly by validating required throughput and verifying concepts and strategies.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Academic degree in engineering, mathematics, technology or science

• Experience in programming and software design

• Continuous personal improvement
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
• Italian or French language skills are an advantage
• Experience in simulation modelling (ideally with AutoMod) is an advantage
• Knowledge of intralogistics equipment and solutions is an advantage
• Occasional travel throughout Europe and overseas to meet with customers and colleagues
