Are you looking for an HR summer internship and want to learn more about Talent Acquisition and Talent Development in a global organization? JLG is looking for an HR intern who is eager to get real world work experience. As a HR Talent intern, you will be working on a variety of HR projects that will impact attraction, retention, talent and leadership development, and performance management.

IMPACT

• Gain meaningful experience by assisting in attraction strategies and salaried recruiting tasks including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs, career fairs, campus recruiting, and interviews.
• Create and maintain position descriptions for all departments within the organization.
• Participate in meaningful projects focused on retention and the development of best in class employee experience
• Perform HRIS activity on our HR systems for various uses such as applicant tracking, reviewing resumes, updating requisitions, and handling confidential employee information.
• Accurately represent JLG and schedule and conduct interviews for salaried and hourly positions.
• Perform research and assistance for various HR projects as needed.
• Assist in company talent and leadership training, such as Succession Planning, Performance Management, Leading People First and Mid-Level Leadership Training.
• Support the Company’s Affirmative Action Plan program including regular activities, processes, and audits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced team environment.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
• Have a passion for making a difference and putting people first.
