ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualifiedCybersecurity Engineer II, Ft Meade/NBP. The ideal candidate will perform as and manage the full spectrum of systems engineering tasks to include requirements analysis, feature, system and interface design, system integration, system testing, as well as working with the modeling team in support of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and all associated documentation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in ensuring the cybersecurity for the project’s information systems.
Ensuring effective controls, countermeasures, processes are in place and optimized to maintain a strong organizational and system security posture.
Implementing updates, patches, and routine maintenance of project systems.
Performing research and analysis on COTS cybersecurity solutions to determine the efficacy both as a security tool as well as a data source.
Supervising and mentoringsubordinate staff, while taking direction from more senior staff.
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline.
DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
2 years of position-specific relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Relevant industry standard certifications such as Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure); Security certification (Security+, CASP, CISSP); Tool certifications (Tenable Security Center Specialist, Tanium Certified Administrator, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator)
Security clearance requirement:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a polygraph.
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
