So, what will your new role look like?

As a Front-end Developer, Ember.js, you will play a key role in designing and implementing new features for our LMS. You will work closely with the product and design teams to create a smooth and efficient user experience.

• Design, develop, and maintain the Ember.js application of our LMS.
• Collaborate with the design team to turn mockups into functional and responsive code.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and the implementation of automated tests.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase by proposing redesigns and optimizations.
• Implement best practices in software development.
• Actively participate in planning sprints, reviews, and daily stand-ups.  

A typical week? 

• Writing quality code: 70%.
• Code review and technical feedback: 20%.
• Team meetings and rituals: 10%.

What does your future team look like?  

It is a dynamic team consisting of seven developers, including five Ruby on Rails backend developers and two Ember.js frontend developers. You will collaborate with a Product Manager with strong technical skills, a talented Product Designer, and a tech-savvy manager to create innovative solutions.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team? 

• Expand the application’s capabilities to support the SCORM format.
• Use artificial intelligence to simplify and accelerate content creation.
• Develop dashboards to improve managers’ visibility into training progress.

Qualifications

• JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
• Ember.js;
• Git;
• Unit/Acceptance tests with QUnit and MirageJS (or anyother testing librairy);
• Strong skill in communicating effectively.
