We are seeking a motivated individual to join our global Accounting Team. This role will partner closely with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by supporting international daily operations, cash application, cash management, quarterly internal and external reporting, and audit activities. Candidates will be detail-oriented and a self-starter who can complete tasks timely and efficiently. This position will report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

● Monitor multiple payment streams (lockbox, credit cards, checks, wires, etc.) to ensure that all
payments are posted accurately on a daily basis
● Prepare journal entries with proper documentation
● Process customer payments and refunds regularly to ensure AR balances are up to date
● Help to resolve unapplied payments and invoices
● Complete accurate bank reconciliations as well as research/resolve discrepancies
● Work with the AR Team to resolve any exception found in customer payment application
● Perform month and quarter-end closing tasks
● Assist in providing required support for audits
● Document cash application procedures for new and existing processes
● Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for cash management and
forecasting
● Assist in ad-hoc analysis under the direction of Accounting Manager

Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
● CPA is preferred
● Experience with SAP Hana (ERP) is preferred
● Basic MS Excel skills
● Excellent organizational and time management skills
● Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
● Highly motivated, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills
● Execution focused with high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
● Ability to work and collaboratively with a global team

Base Pay Range

Costa Rica

Base Pay: CRC 10,400,000.00 - 14,300,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
