JLL is seeking a Data Analytics Intern based in the Greater Toronto Area who has the proven ability to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities, be tech savvy, and loves solving problems with data and systems to improve efficiency at the workplace.
AS A DATA ANALYTICS SUMMER INTERN AT JLL YOU WILL:
Technology Integration
- Master industry-leading software including Corrigo (CMMS system), VFA (Capital Planning software), and SharePoint
- Perform data reconciliation between Corrigo and VFA, resolving discrepancies
- Leverage and analyze PowerBI reports to enhance operational efficiency
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables) and explore JLL's proprietary GPT tool
Process Improvement
- Create and refine process maps, identifying gaps and proposing solutions
- Participate in data governance and team meetings, contributing insights and ideas
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support decision-making processes
- Prepare and present an end-of-internship project, showcasing your learnings and contributions
- Support VFA reporting requests
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus
- Experience or interest in commercial real estate is beneficial
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, curious mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Adaptability to a primarily remote work environment with occasional in-person events
This internship offers a blend of remote work and in-person experiences, including onboarding intern events and opportunities to engage with Business Resource Groups (BRGs) at our Toronto downtown office.
