Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mission and System Integration Engineer to join our team! As a Integrator on our team, you’ll work with Parsons colleagues and partners and the U.S. Space Force to support the framework that hosts OPIR applications critical to the defense of our country. Grow your skills by merging innovative engineering methodologies and cross-disciplinary coordination to create tomorrow’s solutions. In this role, you will develop detailed knowledge of the mission partner’s satellite systems, subsystems, and components to ensure requirements and mission objectives are met all while supporting our US Space Force customer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Help develop and manage mission specific integration plans, schedules, and resources.
- Provide operational inputs to new capabilities.
- Help to develop operational procedures for mission contingencies and system issues.
- Define and coordinate use-cases and simulation requirements to support mission integration and testing.
- Ensure that applications meet customer requirements using rigorous testing and validation procedures.
- Maintain and update external ICDs between the mission partner’s components and the system.
- Integrate COTS/GOTS/FOSS applications into designated frameworks.
- Participating in technical discussions to assist in planning future integration efforts.
- Collaborate with the team and customer to evaluate, refine, and improve integration processes and tools.
- Look for ways to modernize integration and improve performance.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 5+ years of related experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with mission partners.
- Experience with satellite mission operations.
- Experience with mission integration and test.
- Understanding and implementation experience in CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.
- Experience in OPIR and MDPAF.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- USSF FORGE MDPAF knowledge.
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile development environments.
- DevSecOps automated integration knowledge.
- Experience working DoD projects.
- Integration experience in hybrid platforms (Cloud, On-premise, standalone).
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Salary Range:
