Requirements
  • Massachusetts Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Massachusetts
  • Multi-state licensure is an added advantage as we operate in all 50 states
  • Possess 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting
  • Expertise in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders
  • Understand culturally responsive treatment and have experience with diverse patient groups
  • Comfortable assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios
  • Equipped with a quality video camera and a stable internet connection to facilitate virtual care
Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments.
  • Engage with patients through our collaboration portal.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers.
  • Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination.
  • Partner with our care navigation team to support students.
  • Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hold a valid PMHNP license in Massachusetts. Multi-state licensure is an added advantage as we operate in all 50 states.
