EchoStarhas an exciting opportunity for aSoftware Engineering Summer Intern - 2025in ourHughes Network Systemsdivision.Thisposition will be located in ourSan Diego, CAoffice.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboratewith senior software engineersin a team environmenton exciting projects
• Innovate and contribute to creative solutions and improvements
• Assistin software development include designing, coding and testing
• Exposure to technology and design of communication systems
• Communicating status and progress of deliverables, and sharing learnings/ innovations with the team and stakeholders

Basic Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a technical Bachelor’s program
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• 60 Credit hours or more by June 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Effective oral communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude
