Requirements
  • Valid Registered Insurance Broker Ontario (RIBO) License
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance; knowledge of diverse insurance policies and emerging insurance trends
  • Experience in High Net Worth or VIP is a significant asset
  • Established industry network and centre of influence
  • Solid organizational, time, and client management skills
  • Team player with leadership coaching abilities
  • Proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Robust initiative and efficient follow-up skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with Epic or equivalent insurance broker management system
Responsibilities
  • Works in a team-based structure with an assigned Account Associate to retain and grow your existing portfolio.
  • Pro actively researching and analyzing your clients coverage trends and identifying areas of risk and opportunities along with solutions.
  • Act as escalation for any unresolved outstanding client premiums.
  • Proactive account business planning and forecasting.
  • Coaching and mentoring to the assigned associate.
  • Establishes networks, partnerships and centers of influence specific to the Private Client space.
  • Provides suggestions for continuous improvements in workflows and procedures for sales and service.
  • Delivering superior client management.
