Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day management and leadership to the Commercial Enterprise team, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
  • Contribute to business planning and growth by delivering on allocated objectives for schemes and connected commercial ventures.
  • Strategically allocate team resources to ensure that clients and internal colleagues receive the exceptional service they deserve.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Client Advisors, offering guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
  • Promote a culture of continuous self-improvement and the sharing of best practices, encouraging colleagues to enhance their skills and capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Ensure that both technical and soft skills training is provided to the team as required, equipping them with the tools for success.
  • Oversee team workflows and individual workloads, ensuring efficient allocation of tasks and resources.
  • Regularly assess the quality of individual and team outputs, delivering prompt and constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Address all matters related to team management, including recruitment, performance management, and the year-end performance and rewards process.
  • Provide high-quality service and support to our client base, building strong relationships and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Effectively handle complex client queries, delivering the best technical advice and service to clients and Client Executives.
  • Work closely with other teams in the Marsh business to resolve complex matters, insurer queries and accounts allocations ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Oversee the completion of Balanced Scorecards and Development Plans, identifying and addressing knowledge gaps within the team.
  • Engage with various divisions within Marsh to provide comprehensive client service solutions.
  • Take responsibility for your own portfolio of clients, demonstrating excellence in all aspects of service as a role model for team members.
  • Ensure that all colleagues adhere to Marsh compliance and business-specific procedures and guidelines at all times.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience within Insurance
  • Strong People Management skills
  • CIP / ACII qualified
  • Excellent IT and Digital Skills (including Excel and Word)
