Job Description Summary
Under the supervision of the Department Manager, is responsible for providing efficient and effective clerical support to Department staff. Acting as the focal point of communication, coordinates departmental clerical and support activities to meet the needs of staff, physicians, and patients. Also responsible for accurately registering patients which includes gathering patient information through patient interviews along with financial counseling and insurance verification in accordance with established guidelines, policies and procedures.

Additional Job Description
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
Specialized training in medical terminology, secretarial or Medical Assistant training preferred.
