Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 24 months experience in proposal submission and/or research administration
  • 48 months experience in proposal submissions and/or research administration in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 72 months experience.
Responsibilities
  • Establishes, maintains, modifies, and tracks all incoming professional service and speaking agreements, business associate agreements for both grants and contracts, and independent contractor and other service agreements for the PSB Training program.
  • Manages accounts receivable billing for the PSB training program.
  • Responsible for the management, tracking, and payment submission for all service agreements, rental agreements, independent contractor agreements, or other types of monthly subscription services.
  • Reconciles the PSB training account and National Symposium on the Sexual Behavior of Youth (NSSBY) account monthly.
  • Will maintain a university purchasing card (PCard) and make project specific purchases.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate information to multiple personnel, consultants, program directors, university departments, and agencies receiving or seeking training.
  • Attends PSB training meetings for updates on scheduling and upcoming training and other events.
  • Performs various tasks as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of standard bookkeeping and accounting procedures
  • Advanced excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Able to understand a chart of accounts and code entries to proper account
  • Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff
  • Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
  • Customer service
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations
