Responsibilities
  • Monitor and identify federal grant opportunities through Grants.gov, beta.SAM.gov, and agency forecasts
  • Evaluate funding opportunities against organizational capabilities and strategic goals
  • Develop capture strategies and win themes for targeted opportunities
  • Lead go/no-go decision processes for potential opportunities
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline and tracking systems
  • Build and lead integrated proposal teams across organizational boundaries
  • Coordinate and manage industry partner contributions and deliverables
  • Oversee university research teams and academic partnerships
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and deadlines for all team members
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners
  • Conduct regular team meetings and status updates
  • Manage resource allocation across multiple concurrent proposals
  • Coordinate cross-functional proposal teams including subject matter experts, technical writers, and partners
  • Develop proposal outlines, timelines, and writing assignments
  • Lead proposal kickoff meetings and review sessions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal guidelines and submission requirements
