Redhorse Corporation’s Cyber Analytics team is seeking an experienced Technical Instructor to support one of our government customers. You will have an opportunity to work as part of a team on a variety of mission critical programs, developing course curriculum and delivering training to developers and testers on a variety of Cyber tools.
As a Technical Instructor, you will work as part of an integrated team responsible for designing and developing Cyber Network Operations (CNO) software that will be used in training exercises for software developers and testers. The software tools will be used to exercise various features of an environment emulating real world deployment scenarios that are used by other developers across a large CNO program.
You will become proficient in a program-wide tool set and work with the development teams to create and deliver in-person and asynchronous training sessions as well as provide feedback from users on the function of these tools. This will provide opportunities to interact with a wide range of CNO developers and participate in the continued development and enhancement of the tool sets. You will also work with SMEs and CNO developers to maintain emulation environments for use in hands-on training scenarios. This program will continually expand to include new target environments and operational scenarios requiring ongoing development and training support.
Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials:
- 3 years of experience delivering technical training on complex software tools or systems.
- Experience in writing software in: Python, C, C++, or similar languages.
- Development experience in Linux and Windows.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- An undergraduate degree in related technical field.
- Experience developing in container-based and/or other virtualized environments.
- Knowledge of consumer personal security products (PSP).
- Understanding of forensic analysis of security log data including use of tools and techniques.
Security Clerance:
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
