Requirements
  • Full professional proficiency in both French and English.

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation by preparing materials and setting up equipment.
  • Work with the lead teacher to monitor the class schedule.
  • Review lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
  • Ensure that the classroom environment is safe, clean, and tidy.
  • Oversee students during non-classroom times, including between classes, lunch, recess, and off-field excursions.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to identify issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
  • Help lead teachers create lesson plans.
  • Participate as a lead teacher during camps.
  • Comply with state, school, and class rules and regulations.
  • Attend all training classes, parent conferences, and faculty meetings.
