Requirements
  • Experience as a backend or systems engineer with distributed systems.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: financial systems such as trading, ledgers, or payments; data infrastructure; or scalable backend platforms.
  • Strong understanding of system design, consistency, and reliability.
  • Solid programming skills in Python or a similar language.
  • Experience with modern infrastructure such as Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Design and build core financial systems for trading, ledgers, and billing.
  • Develop systems for transaction processing, reconciliation, and portfolio state management.
  • Build and scale real-time and batch data pipelines.
  • Architect APIs and backend services for internal and external use.
  • Ensure system reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
  • Contribute to distributed systems design, including event-driven systems, microservices, and streaming.
  • Partner with machine learning teams to integrate models into production systems as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with financial primitives such as ledgers, order management, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with low-latency or high-throughput systems.
  • Exposure to data platforms or streaming systems.
  • Some familiarity with machine learning systems.
