Responsibilities
  • Develop, communicate, embed, track and handle the MX Product Plan & GTM Strategy across the region
  • Align, influence, gain consensus and approval with the Head of SMP PM, Suwon, Subsidiaries and ETO leadership teams on the components of the Smartphone Product plan incorporating key strategic direction from Suwon, whilst adding specific regional plans, innovations and action plan
  • Support the creation of documentation to communicate the Product Plan, GTM Strategy, Subsidiary Reference Cases (Best Practise), Issue & Opportunity Identification, Business critical metrics and Business Review for Global, Regional & Subsidiary audiences
  • Deeply understand, interpret and champion Samsung MX, its strategy, product categories, individual products, and global and regional action plan at Global, Regional and Subsidiary Level.
  • Be the Regional Owner of the A Series Smartphone products. Deeply understand, communicate and champion the product CXPs, product strategy, roadmap. Creating materials, analysis and positioning to drive behaviours and results within the Region and Subsidiaries
  • Intensively analyse key competitor products, activities, commercial strategies, pricing and portfolio strategy and coordinate with Suwon and Subsidiaries to align on actions plans to overcome challenges and maximise the opportunity in the market through responding rapidly
  • Act as peer to peer for Suwon for portfolio management. Working hand in hand to support regular and adhoc analysis and reporting. Make recommendations for regional portfolio selection including devices/storage/spec and pricing
  • Manage the product lifecycle of each product from launch to EOL, ensuring healthy levels of stock across devices
  • Work with the Global Product Planning team to deliver European requirements for new product introductions in to the market with a consumer-first attitude ensuring the products are competitive and address various needs within the market
  • Set out & continuously review sales expectations on a monthly and yearly horizon for the category with product forecasting and scenario planning
  • Drive local first behaviours through building deep understanding of each local subsidiaries markets, strategies, performance and most importantly people. Create strong relationships with subsidiaries at all levels through regular face to face engagement in the field
  • Lead GTM strategic planning, communication and performance communication and tracking to Sales & PM level within subsidiaries
  • Use local > cluster > region knowledge, strategy and analysis to spot trends and opportunities
  • Be responsible for the relationships with sales and PM within each subsidiary. Acting as their primary point of contact and escalation for ETO, providing motivation and support to deliver the Product Plan and complete key initiatives.
  • Handle the RRP setting process, investment and commercial guidelines; and align with Subsidiaries
  • Clearly communicate and coordinate provisional and finalised pricing between Subsidiaries and Suwon
  • Build and own deep knowledge on the 'Central, Eastern & Portugal Europe' market building, maintaining and sharing 'CEP Bible' detailing key metrics, commercial, marketing and performance metrics, strategies, results and best practise
