Echo Tech / Pediatric Cardiology - Queens Medical Group - Part Time Days
Join our compassionate and highly skilled pediatric subspecialty team as anEcho Technician, where you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating pediatric patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside three board-certified pediatric cardiologists in an ICAEL accreditedecholab.
In this role, you will:
Perform pediatric transthoracic and fetal echocardiograms
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Maintain equipment and adhere to imaging protocols and quality standards
Document procedures and findings accurately in the patient records
This is a part time day shift position (21.75 hours weekly / 3 days) working in our Fresh Meadows and Flushing Practices.
Preferred Criteria:
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing fetal and pediatric echocardiograms
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Completion of approved Echocardiogram Training Program
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician.
ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography (Echo) Certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
