  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant compliance experience
  • BS/BA required; a law degree is useful but not required
  • Familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act and working knowledge of Investment Company Act
  • Excellent project management skills

  • Experience and understanding of regulatory landscape and demonstrated ability to lead and implement changes

  • Ongoing maintenance of the compliance program for KKR Private Markets and KKR Real Estate
  • Provide general compliance advice on daily investing activities, compliance policies and procedures, and private fund compliance issues
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory topics for all aspects of the real estate business including trading, qualified investor monitoring, investor reporting, and regulatory filings
  • Compliance and Securities Law and trade support including leading best execution measurements and governance reporting
  • Investment guideline and regulatory monitoring/testing
  • Compliance with investment allocations policies and procedures, including SEC exemptive relief for co-investing
  • Monitoring and advising on conflicts of interest
  • Procedures, training, and controls for insider trading
  • Use of Consultants - procedures and ongoing surveillance
  • Assisting in coordination of regulatory filings
  • Perform reviews of fund administrators
  • Create and maintain due diligence program for real estate service providers and platform investing
  • Management of affiliated transaction documentation and reporting
  • Oversight of transactional due diligence and managing anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering processes for fund transactions
  • Oversight of KKR’s Code of Ethics function, including review and approval of requests related to the personal investment policy, outside business activities, gifts and entertainment, and political contributions
  • Maintenance of KKR’s Information Barrier, including compliance oversight of certain public trading activities
  • Responding to due diligence and KYC requests from various third parties
  • Carrying out continuing compliance education for Firm personnel, preparing training material, and conducting in-person training throughout the year
