  • Responsible for performing or coordinating maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Perform Installation, Operational, and Process Qualification on equipment and as needed
  • Maintain organized equipment records
  • Standardize processes for scalability and sustainability
  • Troubleshoot and triage equipment issues and involve vendors as required
  • Perform root cause analysis of problems that occur on laboratory instrumentation and propose long-term solutions as needed
  • Triage equipment issues and involve vendors as required
  • Draft documentation related to equipment operation and maintenance as needed
  • Suggest process improvements and design a plan to execute them
  • Maintain equipment parts inventory and equipment records
  • Execute special projects as assigned
  • Represent the Engineering Group in cross functional meetings
  • Mentor and assist other team members in service, support and troubleshooting of instrumentation
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing training programs and performing knowledge transfer
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment and build strong working relationships
  • Experience in method development and liquid handler programming
  • Field service engineering experience is desirable
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
