Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the fields of solution architecture, systems integration, technical consulting, Internet of Things or smart infrastructure
  • Proven expertise in indoor positioning, location services or mobile navigation technologies
  • Knowledge of indoor positioning technology based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) and infraless (text appears as 'infraless')
  • Experience designing and supporting mobile applications on iOS (Swift or Objective-C) and Android (Java or Kotlin)
  • Mastery of RESTful APIs and cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with edge computing, digital twins and AI-driven automation
  • Strong written communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in aviation, geospatial technologies or smart building environments (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field such as HVAC/R
  • English proficiency required; knowledge of an additional European language such as French or German is a plus
  • Knowledge of Building Management System platforms such as Distech, Niagara or Schneider Electric and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT is an asset but not mandatory
  • Travel up to 50% may be required to meet with customers, potential customers, attend industry events or visit project sites
Responsibilities
  • Design scalable and sustainable indoor orientation and location services solutions, including turn-by-turn navigation, points of interest search, geofenced notifications and indoor positioning; integrate IoT, mobile, AI analytics and cloud services to meet client requirements and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Win trust as a technical adviser by collaborating with customers to understand their technical needs, leading technical discovery sessions, supporting envisioning workshops and performing site assessments; translate operational, accessibility and sustainability objectives into tailored solutions for navigation and localization challenges
  • Provide comprehensive architecture plans ensuring interoperability across the Atrius ecosystem and customer environments; incorporate considerations for mobile application integration, data privacy, security and scalability
  • Lead the integration of Atrius Wayfinder into native iOS and Android applications, ensuring performance, responsiveness and alignment with indoor positioning capabilities
  • Support RFI and RFP responses with clear, technically precise content; produce technical documentation, implementation templates and reusable integration resources
  • Collaborate with airports, airlines and partner vendors to ensure smooth deployment and long-term success of Atrius localization services in complex operational environments
  • Design and recommend solutions that comply with industry standards and relevant cybersecurity best practices
  • Collaborate with sales, product, engineering and customer success teams to develop technical offerings, assist with customer demonstrations and provide integration support; align customer needs with internal roadmaps
  • Represent Atrius at conferences, workshops and industry events; host webinars and training sessions to educate stakeholders and drive adoption
  • Stay informed on emerging SaaS, indoor mapping, smart buildings and energy management technologies; continuously evolving solution design approaches to keep Atrius at the forefront of digital orientation and geospatial intelligence
Desired Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, technical consulting, IoT or smart infrastructure (already included in requirements)
  • Experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android (already included)
  • Experience in aviation or smart building domains (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (already included)
  • English proficiency; another European language is a plus (already included)
  • Knowledge of BMS platforms such as Distech, Niagara or Schneider Electric and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT (asset)
