Requirements
  • 7+ years of related experience in engineering, technical sales and/or IT consulting
  • Technical and/or sales certifications desired (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, VMware)
  • Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform
  • Focused experience around Windows server technologies (Office365, Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Hands-on/practical experience with technologies like Windows Server, Public Cloud, Active Directory, Citrix, Cisco, VMware, Dell/EMC
  • ITIL and/or Project Management certifications are a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate complex plans and solutions effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence Senior Leadership teams
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and work cross-functionally with Sales and Engineering teams
  • Proven knowledge of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
  • Occasional on-call and after-hours work as required, expected travel to customer sites
Responsibilities
  • Act as a customer advocate and single point of contact for technical inquiries
  • Establish relationships with clients and understand their business needs
  • Develop IT Strategy and advise clients on technologies
  • Conduct technology research and analysis
  • Perform risk analysis to help clients understand IT maturity level
  • Act as technical advisor during Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Assist with technical reporting and client conversations
  • Act as technical liaison and escalation point between organization and client
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Assist with planning, budgeting, contract management, and project planning
  • Identify up- and cross-selling opportunities
  • Focus on integration, automation, and optimization for technical solutions
  • Promote customer satisfaction and client retention
  • Onsite presence in Richmond, Virginia 3-4 days per week
