Requirements
  • A diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • A current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Basic Life Support training or retraining is required during orientation before providing patient care.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications must be maintained through retraining for the duration of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Systematically assess and reassess healthcare needs for individuals based on age group and patient condition, involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
  • Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
  • Provide nursing care through interventions that achieve patient goals and needs using professional judgment, current evidence-based practice, regulations, and policy.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts, and reach sound conclusions.
  • Evaluate discharge needs related to the plan of care and use resources as needed.
  • Provide care for electrophysiology laboratory patients.
  • Practice nursing professionally.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing is preferred.
  • Electrophysiology experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Life Support training is preferred upon hire and required within six months of hire.
