Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead overall plant operations to achieve plant targets for safety, quality, service, and cost.
  • Provide leadership to the plant team and manage the systems, equipment, people, and materials according to established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Lead and drive the plant safety culture and put safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Lead identification of opportunities and problem areas for targeted improvement by creating, reviewing, and monitoring data or reports showing performance against key performance indicators for safety, quality, waste, and productivity.
  • Oversee all aspects of human capital planning and management for the facility, including human capital goal setting, improvement targets for key performance indicators, salary planning, and performance management.
  • Attract, hire, and develop direct reports and create strong succession plans.
  • Ensure compliance with department safety, product safety, fire protection, company policies and procedures, and housekeeping programs.
  • Ensure effective, timely, and well-developed communications for all production associates.
  • Manage process control initiatives by ensuring manufacturing standard operating procedures exist and are sufficient for quality, safety, and process control.
  • Lead plant budgeting processes.
  • Ensure execution of plant capital expenditures.
  • Lead and ensure growth of the continuous improvement culture by providing resources, participating in teams, and leading teams as necessary.
  • Ensure facility compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Drive employee engagement action planning for the facility.
  • Lead communication to all plant associates regarding business needs and results.
  • Lead efforts at best-practice sharing with other facilities.
  • Meet safety targets and drive a safety culture and environment that sends every employee home each day without injury.
  • Meet or exceed the plant business plan and key performance indicators.
  • Provide best-practices leadership.
  • Plan and utilize manpower, materials, and machinery effectively and cost-efficiently.
  • Provide strong human capital planning, development, and management for the facility.
  • Drive a high-performance culture.
  • Lead plant talent to deliver on plan.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Six Sigma Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
  • Seven or more years of leadership experience, preferably in flexible packaging.

Amcor fiscal Q3 earnings preview: analysts expect $0.98 EPS, up 8.9% year-over-year

In Q2, Amcor reported adjusted earnings of $0.86 per share, exceeding expectations by 3.6%, though revenue of $5.4 billion missed forecasts by 1.8%. The 68.1% revenue increase was largely driven by the Berry acquisition. For fiscal 2026, analysts project earnings of $3.99 per share, up 12.4% from the previous year. Wells Fargo downgrades Amcor to Equal Weight, cuts price target to $43

Wells Fargo has downgraded Amcor plc to Equal Weight from Overweight and reduced its price target to $43 from $48. Amcor and DCM launch recyclable PE film with 35% recycled content for fertiliser packaging

Amcor has partnered with Belgian company De Ceuster Meststoffen (DCM) to launch a recyclable mono-material polyethylene film for the European fertiliser market. The packaging replaces DCM's previous multi-material structure, which could not be recycled through existing waste streams. The new packs contain 35% post-consumer recycled content and are available in sizes ranging from 650g to 7kg. The film uses machine-direction oriented PE combined with a functional sealant layer, providing gas and moisture resistance whilst maintaining strength and reducing puncture risk. DCM's communication manager Sofie Peeters noted that sustainability has been central to the company's philosophy since its founding in 1976. The solution helps brands meet sustainability objectives whilst complying with upcoming Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation requirements across Europe.

Amcor reports $826M Q2 EBITDA as Berry integration synergies hit $93M in H1, targeting $650M by 2028

Amcor reported second-quarter revenue of $5.4 billion, EBITDA of $826 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.86, whilst declaring a $0.65 quarterly dividend. The packaging company reaffirmed full-year adjusted EPS guidance of $4.00–$4.15 and free cash flow of $1.8–$1.9 billion. The company is accelerating its Berry integration, capturing $55 million in synergies during the quarter and $93 million in the first half. Management targets at least $260 million in synergies for fiscal 2026 and $650 million through fiscal 2028, supported by headcount reductions and site consolidations. Core portfolio volumes declined approximately 1.5 per cent, with pet care and meat proteins outperforming. Adjusted leverage stood at 3.6 times at quarter-end, targeted to reach 3.1–3.2 times by year-end.

Amcor posts Q2 profit of $177M, beats earnings estimates but misses revenue forecasts

Amcor reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $177 million, with adjusted earnings of 86 cents per share, exceeding Wall Street expectations of 83 cents per share.
