  • STEM based BS Degree + 12 years of exp; MS Degree + 10 years; or PhD + 7 years.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at the time of application.
  • Experience on Space systems programs, such as payload, OR spacecraft bus, OR antenna, launch, OR ground systems, and/or operations and maintenance activities.
  • Direct program experience working with the following disciplines: Program Management Office, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, SEIT, and PM&P.
  • Experience working with and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience working with or supporting Integration and Test.
  • Experience working with or supporting Validation and Verification.
  • Experience supporting Parts, Materials, and Processes Control Board.
  • Experience support Risk and Opportunity Management Board.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
Responsibilities
  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product, focusing on defect minimization and process improvement.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Performs oversight and monitoring of program risks and opportunities.
  • Assists in the performance of independent quality reviews to ensure compliance with contractual and customer requirements.
  • Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction assuring process and product quality.
  • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • Specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
