Requirements
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license preferred. Experience in lieu of certification will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent with a strong background in commercial, and industrial equipment controls wiring electrical work.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, at heights, and in adverse weather conditions. Capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment as needed.
  • 0-2 years of experience in site coordination and/or construction.
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, circuits, outlets, control panels, and lighting.
  • Diagnose equipment and facility electrical problems and provide effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal clients and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
  • Work collaboratively with other electricians, apprentices, and construction trades personnel to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
  • Respond to emergency electrical issues as needed, including troubleshooting and repair of critical systems.
