Strategy Specialists at Thomas are the strategic ideators for our Thomas Marketing Services (TMS) clients’ full-service marketing programs. Utilizing a strong understanding of digital marketing, this role is instrumental in the successful execution of ever-evolving campaigns for B2B companies in the industrial/manufacturing sector.  This role reports directly to the Strategy Production Manager and works alongside a team of strategy coordinators, associates, and other specialists.

 

Strategy Specialists lead their clients’ campaigns by leveraging SEO, SEM, email, content development, social media, and paid advertising strategies, which are monitored over time and adapted to meet client goals. Team members in the Strategist role work closely with a cross-departmental team of functional marketing experts and share ideas with other Specialists.

 

●Ideate and manage the development, delivery, and execution of customized digital marketing efforts for clients that address sales, marketing, and lead nurturing funnel goals

●Recommend and implement new ideas and innovations to improve each digital channel as well as customer account performance

●Set project timelines and milestones

●Organize, manage, and prioritize projects with cross-functional teams for deliverable creation

●Manage all CRM/database segmentation to accurately target audiences

●Provide insights and analysis on all campaign key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics in monthly and annual reporting

●Manage campaign performance reports and share results across teams to ensure constant program evolution

 

●2 - 3 years of experience in a digital marketing or content marketing role

●Skilled at targeting specific goals, focused metrics, and KPIs when setting strategy

●High proficiency with best practices for SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and blog writing

●Experience with CRM systems (such as Hubspot, Salesforce) and website CMS (such WordPress) systems

●Stays in the know of new digital/media marketing techniques

 

●B2B and/or industrial/manufacturing industry knowledge

●Agency experience

●Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush and AHRefs, Hubspot, WordPress websites, Basecamp or other project management software

●Certifications for Hubspot (email, Inbound), Google Analytics, Google Ads, or project management
