Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintain key client and carrier relationships
  • Responsible for the overall management and retention of an assigned book of business
  • Develops proactive calling and referral relationships with client relationship managers and sales officers
  • Handles enrollment process management, benchmarking, RFP process, marketing of clients' coverage, financial review, and coordination of onboarding for new customers
  • Collaborates with producer and marketing department for quotes and new business submissions
  • Reviews, markets, and delivers renewals, processes plan amendments, and keeps current with carriers and products
  • Pursues professional studies and maintains familiarity with industry trends and new insurance products
  • Acts as backup for department personnel and performs other assigned duties
  • Markets renewal business, handles client service requests, processes policies and endorsements, and responds to client requests in a timely manner
  • Issues Binders, Certificates of Insurance, Evidences of Insurance, and Auto ID cards
  • Invoices agency bill items, prepares and transmits Schedules of Insurance, premium finance agreements, and assists in collecting accounts receivable
  • Reviews accounts for additional coverages, expands client relationships to write coverages within other departments
