Requirements
  • 5+ years of work experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development at a technology company, or related experience
  • Demonstrated ability and experience with building financial models (e.g., DCFs, M&A valuation, etc.)
  • Prior experience in M&A deal execution and integration
  • MBA
  • Exposure to Consumer Internet and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) sectors
  • Ability to formulate exec-level insights around complex business problems and create structured quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Ability to take ambiguous problems and provide structure and clarity
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills & executive presence: able to articulately present and debate recommendations with senior leadership
  • Strong personal initiative, excellent judgment and sense of humor
  • Experience working with large data sets and using statistical analyses
  • Desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment: a highly proactive self-starter
  • High aptitude to learn quickly, assimilate to new teams and projects, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Develop strong knowledge of our competitive ecosystem and deliver insightful analyses of market opportunities to inform our M&A strategy
  • Support acquisitions by playing a quarterback role across all elements of the deal including defining acquisition rationale, valuation modeling, due diligence, deal negotiations, etc. This includes coordinating a multitude of internal teams across various stages of the process
  • Manage post-acquisition integration by ensuring that cross-functional teams are all executing on their respective M&A integration plans
  • Drive strategy projects end to end working closely with cross-functional partners
  • Assist in building relationships with key players in the industry (e.g., VCs, founders, investment bankers, etc.)
  • Assist the team in building world-class best practices and infrastructure to keep us running smoothly
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues from across the organization
  • Commitment to a minimum of two in-office days per week, depending on opportunities for team collaboration
