Responsibilities
  • Review construction plans during design process and provide feedback on layout, constructability, and cost effectiveness
  • Manage site contractors and consultants to complete site work according to the approved construction plans and best land development practices
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements throughout the development process
  • Coordinate with dry utility companies to design utility layout, review and execute easement documents, schedule and oversee installation of utilities to deliver finished lots on schedule.
  • Bid, contract, and manage on-lot site work related to delivery of finished homes to support Van Metre Construction
  • Manage maintenance of sites during home construction through bond release. Provide oversight and customer service during winter weather events
  • Manage dirt movement and dirt balance across all projects to maximize efficiency and reduce cost to Van Metre
  • Manage and maintain project budgets. Review and process invoices for payment in a timely manner
  • Support the Land Development Coordinator throughout the bond release and reduction process. Attend bond release and bond reduction inspections. Engage contractors and manage completion of punch work in a timely manner according to standards and specifications
