Responsibilities
As an RN Rehab Unit Manager, you'll have the opportunity to provide leadership and support to the care team, ensure patient/resident needs are met, and evaluate team performance. You'll also have the chance to work directly with care team members to provide compassionate and professional care.
The Rehab/Therapy Short stay unit is busy with a fluctuating census anywhere from 16-27 residents. May complete multiple admissions and discharges in the same day.
Qualifications
1. Current license by the State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse with experience in the long-term care industry preferred
2. Ability to plan, evaluate and coordinate services.3. Experience in triaging tasks, supervision of nursing team members and coordination of services to provide the optimum resident and patient experience.
4. Exceptional organization skills as well as critical thinking.
5. Must be customer service oriented
6. Ability to multitask as the unit is very busy.
