Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and supplier quality processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, CAPA, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
  • Manage and assess supplier performance using key metrics, including defect rates, and compliance with specifications.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to communicate quality requirements and ensure that supplier materials meet the necessary standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier audits, quality reports, and related documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier quality and reducing costs.
  • Assist in the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers based on quality standards, including conducting initial assessments and audits.
  • Support the planning and execution of supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Prepare audit reports and track corrective actions.
Desired Qualifications
  • ASQ Certification, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in Aerospace or manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of supplier processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to the industry.
