Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on building customer-facing products
  • A history of sustained contribution over time
  • A vision for what great software and great engineering looks like, and the technical expertise and leadership skills to make that vision a reality
  • Excellent product-level thinking. You can understand all the different aspects of how customer journeys and data flows touch each part
  • Ability and desire to solve high impact problems with any tool necessary, even if it requires stepping out of your comfort zone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders, and business needs to the engineering team
Responsibilities
  • Work in diverse product areas to solve challenges like booking healthcare appointments online with real-time availability, collecting patient information with customizable forms, and processing millions of dollars of payments
  • Design, architect, and build delightful and scalable software to solve our customer’s problems
  • Own cross-functional projects end to end, from technical design and decomposition to a successful launch and rollout
  • Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to generate, prioritize, and deliver on ambitious engineering goals

NexHealth provides a cloud-based software platform for healthcare providers (including dental and medical practices) that combines patient communication, online scheduling, billing, and form management as a subscription service. Its product works by giving practices a centralized SaaS toolset: patients can book appointments online, receive automated reminders, complete digital forms, and pay bills online, while the practice benefits from streamlined workflows and reduced no-shows.
