  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of payroll management experience, preferably in a global environment
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in payroll software (Rippling, ADP Fidelity) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with employees at all levels
  • Experience in managing and developing a payroll team
  • Relevant payroll certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)) are a plus

Responsibilities
  • Own the comprehensive payroll process for a global technology and services company with over 2,000 employees, overseeing global payroll operations and reviewing payroll-related changes, including benefits and tax deductions (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), GTL, healthcare FSA, dependent care FSA), and managing ad-hoc employee equity settlements
  • Review month-end journal entries and reconciliations for payroll accounts and actively participate in the month-end close process
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax regulations
  • Partner with Human Resources, Technology, and Business Support teams to implement a third-party payroll system in Bangladesh and continually assess the scalability of payroll processes and technologies
  • Oversee outsourced payroll functions in India, with a potential plan to transition them in-house in the future.
  • Establish and enforce global payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistent practices and compliance across regions
  • Lead and manage cross-functional payroll projects from initiation to completion
  • Oversee and conduct end-to-end payroll-related audits
