Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Create courses and deliver course content during pre-scheduled programs throughout the year.
  • Teach courses using formats such as facilitated discussions of books, films, or ideas; informational lectures; hands-on instruction; and field trips.
  • Teach in one or more subject areas, including art, art history, computer science, contemporary issues, crafts, environmental science, film studies, history, music, music history, philosophy, photography, poetry, political science, psychology, science, and writing.
  • Conduct courses in person or on Zoom, typically for no more than 2.5 hours once a week, with programming ranging from one day to five weeks.
Desired Qualifications
  • A doctorate is preferred.
  • Graduate, adult, or non-degree teaching experience is preferred.
