CelLink makes flex harnesses, flex circuits that replace traditional wiring in vehicles and industrial systems. They pack power, data, and sensing into a single thin circuit, with busing, fusing, and monitoring integrated, and use automated, tool-free manufacturing for quick design changes and high-volume production. Their approach reduces weight by over 70% and volume by over 90% compared with standard wiring and targets direct sales to OEMs and hyperscalers with scalable factories. Their goal is to speed electrification and the digitization of industrial infrastructure by providing compact, reliable power, data, and sensing networks for automotive, aerospace, data centers, and grid storage.

What believers are saying

  • DOE’s 2024 loan closure confirms government support for domestic EV supply-chain capacity.
  • CelLink’s 2026 CES and OCP appearances show active positioning in EV and AI power markets.
  • The company says its facility can support 2.7 million EVs annually, expanding addressable demand.

What critics are saying

  • CelLink’s website still touts a 2023 production start, signaling execution slippage.
  • The $362 million DOE loan and 1,200-job plan tie survival to Georgetown ramp.
  • Tesla and other OEM customers can squeeze pricing or switch to conventional harness suppliers.

What makes CelLink Technologies unique

  • CelLink’s flex harnesses replace bulky wiring with lighter, automated, large-area circuits.
  • Its Georgetown, Texas plant targets high-volume OEM supply with DOE-backed domestic manufacturing.
  • Automotive backers like Ford, BMW i Ventures, Lear, and BorgWarner validate the technology.
