Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is required.
  • Up to one year of specialized training, including coursework in correspondence typing and general business procedures, is required.
  • Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment in daily duties.
  • Proficient typing skills are required.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills are required.
  • Good knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling is required to correct and edit written materials.
  • Understanding of medical terminology is most often required.
  • Strong organizational skills are required to coordinate the supervisor's schedule and support the management team.
  • Ability to analyze numerical data using mathematical formulas and perform routine tabulation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to represent the supervisor effectively when interacting with personnel inside and outside the hospital.
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment is required.
  • One to two years of experience, including on-the-job experience learning department-specific procedures, is required.
  • Considerable walking may be required to gather and distribute materials around the hospital.
Responsibilities
  • Type correspondence and other materials.
  • Correct grammar and punctuation, edit content, and revise wording at personal discretion.
  • Use word processing, dictation, shorthand, or speedwriting equipment as needed.
  • Compose rough and final drafts of memos, correspondence, and reports.
  • Design and prepare new forms.
  • Answer telephone calls and receive visitors.
  • Ascertain needs, establish priorities, investigate background material, and resolve matters within personal authority.
  • Maintain the supervisor's calendar and schedule appointments.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend inter-departmental meetings.
  • Take and issue meeting notes.
  • Support a Director, Manager, and other personnel as required.
  • Interact with personnel at all organizational levels, exchange information, coordinate schedules, investigate problems, and resolve matters within the role's authority.
  • Maintain departmental records, including confidential budget, payroll, patient, and personnel data.
  • Initiate, file, update, and purge records using data-entry, storage, and retrieval software.
  • Support and lead projects as required.
  • Monitor department budgets, review purchase and personnel requests against budget allowances, authorize allowable requests, and obtain information on questionable items before discussing them with the supervisor.
  • Ensure that full-time-equivalent reporting is accurate and correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies based on usage patterns and budgeted allowances.
  • Prepare and follow up on purchase orders.
  • Assume major responsibility for recurring programs or special projects and complete them using independent judgment.
  • Operate office machines including a cathode-ray-tube terminal, word processor, calculator, photocopier, and dictation equipment.
  • Provide functional guidance to new employees on departmental clerical operations, policies, and procedures.

(“TriSalus” or the “company”), an oncology company in the process of going public through a business combination transaction (the “Business Combination”) with MedTech Acquisition Corporation (Nasdaq: MTAC) (“MedTech” or “MTAC”), today announced that it has expanded the reach of its ongoing Pressure-Enabled Regional Immuno-Oncology™ (“PERIO™-01” and “PERIO™-02”) clinical program.In recent months TriSalus has opened five new PERIO™-01 (NCT04935229) clinical trial sites, at Stanford University Hospitals, University of California Los Angeles, University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, University of Washington Medical Center and University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, in addition to five previously activated sites.
