Robinhood is looking for a Senior Brokerage Operations Lead to help build up our Trading Operations team in London, United Kingdom (UK). We are looking for a Brokerage professional with experience in securities and brokerage as well as regulatory compliance related topics and who is excited to work at the intersection of regulation, technology, and finance.
We are looking for a highly adaptable and collaborative person who can handle ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities with flexibility and patience.

What you’ll do
- Planning, coordinating, and driving processes for testing, launching and rollout of new UK brokerage products and features
- Partner with Robinhood global teams such as Brokerage Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Experience (CX), Finance, Product, Engineering and Vendor Management.
- Partner with the local Risk & Compliance team to develop implement and operate the required frameworks and controls to support local regulatory requirements for new products and services
- Monitor performance of third parties
- Continuous process efficiency improvement - help teams identify & manage initiatives to improve operational processes and reduce operational risk
- Responsible for creating and maintaining operational Standard Operating Procedures and processes.
- Command deep knowledge of operational processes and standards.
- Help drive OKRs
- Track changes to regulations and best practices regarding trading and investments in the UK
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 - 8 years of operational experience in brokerage / trading / investments
- Thorough knowledge of topics such as: Transfers, Payments, Settlement, Corporate Actions
- Familiarity with brokerage products and account types
- Understanding of relevant rules, regulations and reporting requirements within the Brokerage space
- Experience working across large projects with multiple work streams and coordinating cross functional teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in applying data analysis to solve business problems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Open minded, curious, knowledgeable, proactive and not being afraid of asking for help and offering help
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple functional groups
- Team player. Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Passionate about fintech
- Experience at a technology enabled investing & trading platform
- Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment certifications
