POSITION SUMMARY

The Stratton Sports and Stratton Clothing Company Retail Associates will be actively selling and merchandising product, seeing to the customer needs in the store, have product knowledge, and accurately process transactions. Seasonal full-time and part-time opportunities available. This position is compensated at $20.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assist customers in finding the right product for their needs and desires
• Accurate cash handling and computer procedures
• Cleaning and merchandising the store as directed
• Answer the telephone following proper telephone etiquette
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures
• Know the product and services offered in your location as well as other Retail/Rental locations and the Resort
• Work independently on ideas that are for the benefit of your location
• Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Actively pursuing a High School Diploma, or equivalent

Experience:

• Previous retail experience, preferred
• Previous customer service experience, preferred

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 16+ years of age. 
• Customer service skills 
• Strong computer literacy 
• Strong communication, and organizational skills  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
