Requirements
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • One year of applicable experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record that aligns with the company’s safety standards are required.
  • CFESA Master Technician status with three of the four CFESA certifications is required.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
  • Use a tablet to document tasks, including parts orders, work orders, and timesheets, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding required repairs and repair status.
  • Use proper hand tools and power tools for repairs.
  • Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on the vehicle.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms.
  • Work independently with daily supervision.
  • Participate as scheduled in weekend and holiday on-call rotations and work regular overtime as needed.
  • Obtain correct part numbers through the branch parts person.
  • Collect payment on cash-on-delivery jobs.
  • Contribute positively to branch targets for response time and first-time fix rates.
  • Participate in available training to increase skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Communicate daily with branch staff, occasionally with corporate staff, and frequently with customers; contact factories occasionally for warranty purposes.
