Responsibilities
  • Work with senior Equity Capital Markets (ECM) officers and professionals and participate in client transactions or assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking team
  • Work directly with internal partners (Corporate & Investment Banking, Risk, Legal, Operations) as well as external partners (Clients, Investors, External Counsel) in the coordination and execution of a deal from launch to close
  • Desire and ability to thrive in fast paced, trading floor environment with short deadlines and real-time market interaction
  • Conduct in-depth economic and statistical analysis on market data such as deal volume, pricing and tenor to detect overall market and industry trends to create deliverables and discussion materials for client meetings
  • Structure and pitch equity capital markets alternatives based on in-depth analysis of client’s existing financial instruments compared against recent market activity
  • Prepare materials for pitches and live deals
  • Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
