Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Finance or Economics).
  • 2+ years of experience working in a subscription-based business or in a management / financial consulting role with a focus on pricing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience with dynamic pricing models and strategies.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of market dynamics and the organisation’s broader commercial and strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • An acute understanding of subscription dynamics (e.g., customer acquisition and retention, churn analysis, lifetime value calculation).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Familiarity with use of AI for pricing models.
  • Experience or knowledge of CPQ implementation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex pricing models in Excel to support dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets to inform pricing decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and sales, to implement pricing strategies.
  • Conduct financial analysis and economic assessments to support strategic decision-making.
