Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience quoting within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings from the BOM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
Responsibilities
  • Intake of all Requests for Quote including review from Re:Build Business Develop and follow-up with the customer.
  • Facilitate quoting activities from receipt of RFQ to customers RFQ due date.
  • Create new customer profiles and project folders in company system.
  • Support Quoting Engineer by gathering and reviewing all required quote documentation and technical data, i.e., drawings, CAD data, quality specifications and other related documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Read, interpret, and summarize drawings to provide accurate information to the Quoting Engineer.
  • Support the Quoting Department to research and acquire materials needed for new product development.
  • Manage vendor RFQs including updating material pricing, MOQ requirements and lead times at regular intervals for direct materials.
  • Responsible for complying with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (DPAS, ITAR, ISO9001, and AS9100 etc.) relating to the development of cost proposals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with Business Development preferred
  • Mechanical engineer or aerospace background preferred
  • 4 year degree, 2 years of degree, machining classes, or relevant experience
