Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with a Risk Management Information System is required.
  • At least 5 years of Property and Casualty Insurance experience is required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and Power BI skills are required.
  • The candidate must demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • The candidate must have written and verbal communication, facilitation, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • The candidate must be able to execute independently with minimal guidance and oversight, resolve technical challenges, and utilize internal and external resources.
  • The candidate must be able to multitask and manage project timelines.
  • The candidate must be able to travel as needed for educational purposes, client meetings, team meetings, or conferences, expected to be less than 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain day-to-day data administration of the Risk Management Information System.
  • Configure the Risk Management Information System platform to meet internal and external client requirements.
  • Perform data conversion analysis, design, testing, control balancing, data cleanup, and data mapping, and resolve exceptions.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal and external clients to gather and document requirements.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and enhancements to existing processes and tools for the benefit of colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain documentation for standards, best practices, complex installations, configurations, and optimization procedures.
  • Design and build reports and dashboards that transform data into meaningful insights.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct user training.
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new colleagues.
