Requirements
  • BA/BS degree for Change Management Specialist
  • 5 years minimum experience providing services and working in structured environs as a Change Management Specialist specifically related to Transition and Economic Development and Strategic Support for Specialized areas such as Government Policy and operational programmatic efforts related to the transition of Service members from military service to civilian life
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance
  • All employees must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the US Government's designated Security Office
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements
  • Location: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland Area
Responsibilities
  • Develop plans associated with transition management and implementation of major initiatives, communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change
  • Complete change management assessments and change management strategy; identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Create actionable deliverables such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Integrate change management activities into project plan, and evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage stakeholders; track and report issues
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
