Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Visual design, graphic design, human factors, interaction design or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years of professional experience in user experience design, UX research, and interaction design and/or information architecture
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing a design team, preferably in a hybrid environment
  • Expert proficiency with design tools such as: Figma, InVision, Sketch, Abstract, Axure, Illustrator, Photoshop, and diagramming and flowchart tools such as Miro
  • Expertise and thought leadership in developing and weaving together a strong interaction design and a strong visual design to produce a seamless, effortless experience
  • Must possess expert proficiency in UX Analysis/Design experience in a large-scale, iterative software development environment
  • Deep experience designing enterprise mobile and multi-platform solutions in web-based and native environments
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the broader issues and opportunities associated with it
  • Strong understanding of living design systems with demonstrated ability to lead and own continuous improvement within
  • Thought leadership and expertise in research and testing techniques, information architecture and user-centered design methodology
  • Expert ability to create elegant solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with teams on research and design activities. Leads and participates in multiple broad core teams from a Product Design perspective. Collaborates with core team leadership across all solutions
  • Can masterfully facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view. Ability to untangle conversational complexities as they arise
  • Deep understanding of various Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC)
  • Deep understanding of current web, mobile, and cloud-based technologies and ability to move seamless between all
  • Ability to communicate proposals to senior management, present effectively to a large external group, and hold conversations at a strategic level with customers
  • Ability to move seamlessly between macro and micro-level problems without losing sight of either
  • Ability to navigate complex trade-off decisions with an "owner's mindset."
  • Ability to balance the needs of the buyers with the needs of the users
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction on all activities across the design spectrum for any given project: including research, analysis, visual design, interaction design, usability testing, and prototyping
  • Responsible and accountable for Product Design decisions across the platform and product portfolio with a clear understanding of the deeper implications on the user experience; including impact of technical, commercial and financial implications
  • Guide and assist the team in its ability to deliver world-class UX artifacts at every point of the design spectrum and provide reasonably accurate estimates of time to complete each UX phase of a project
  • Work closely with Product leaders to execute against the strategic priorities of the business and develop design strategies at both a product and platform level
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture partners at an expert level to understand technical feasibility and ensure the products exceed customer expectations. Participate in established agile process activities such as iteration planning, stand-ups, iteration demos and retrospectives
  • Support TeleTracking's living design system; including design debt management, micro-UI architecture support, component lifecycle support, documentation, and change management
