  • ~15+ years in a Project/Program Management capacity in a consulting or agency setting
  • ~10+ years’ experience managing complex, digital projects that include the full spectrum of Hero offerings including end-to-end website design & build projects, including CMS implementations (AEM and/or Sitecore ideal)
  • Experience leading the delivery of a portfolio of accounts in the $40M+ range annually
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, retaining and managing Project Management staff
  • Mastery of Project Management principles, methods and techniques, including Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience developing and implementing Delivery processes
  • Experience presenting Delivery processes and approaches in pitches
  • Experience crafting delivery approaches, creating proposals, and writing Statements of Work and Change Orders
  • Demonstrated experience managing resources overseeing multiple simultaneous programs involving cross-functional project teams within budgetary, resourcing and schedule constraints
  • Experience managing both domestic and offshore external staffing partners
  • Adept with the context switching involved in splitting your time between managing a Delivery Management team and delivering on client work
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture across multiple projects, take complex issues and present them in a simple and easy to follow manner, and drive to decisions and results
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Meticulous verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Client Services Leads/Managing Director to manage all aspects of the book of business across an office or region totaling ~$40M annually.
  • Provide delivery oversight across the book of business ensuring all projects meet quality, client satisfaction and financial targets.
  • Manage 6-20 direct & indirect reports made up of Program and Project Managers.
  • Be actively involved in regional client work as an escalation point, oversight for delivery teams, and serving as the delivery lead for key, strategic accounts.
  • Partner with the Managing Director on business development and account growth through pitching and developing project approaches, scopes and estimates.
  • Lead Hero’s delivery health process for your region to ensure cross-functional delivery quality standards are met.
  • Be accountable for meeting margin targets for all projects within your assigned region.
  • Sit on the Project Management leadership team to ensure consistency in methods, processes, standards, etc. across Hero’s global Project Management team.
  • Work with delivery leadership on internal initiatives related to growing the agency, delivery methodologies, estimating, the overall Hero delivery model, etc.
  • Participate in growing the Hero Project Management team by recruiting, hiring and onboarding Program and Project Management candidates.
