Senior SAP GRC Consultant

The SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP GRC solutions to ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance, and security within the SAP landscape. This role involves working closely with business and IT stakeholders to design and enforce access controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP GRC modules including Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management. • Conduct risk assessments and identify control gaps within SAP systems. • Design, develop, and maintain access control policies, SoD rules, and workflows. • Manage user access provisioning, role management, and authorization reviews. • Perform SoD analysis and remediation activities, collaborating with business process owners. • Support audit processes by preparing documentation, reports, and compliance evidence. • Provide training and support to end-users and key stakeholders on SAP GRC tools and processes. • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and risk indicators. • Collaborate with SAP Basis, Security, and Functional teams to ensure integrated control environments. • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices related to SAP GRC and IT compliance. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GRC configurations and workflows. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to governance, risk, and compliance processes. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. • 3+ years of experience working with SAP GRC modules, especially Access Control. • Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design, and authorization objects. • Experience with SoD analysis tools and remediation techniques. • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or equivalent. • Understanding of SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA security models. • Ability to translate business compliance requirements into technical solutions. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Experience working with auditors and compliance teams. • SAP GRC certification is preferred. Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools related to SAP security. • Experience integrating SAP GRC with other risk management or ITSM tools. • Understanding of broader IT risk management and cybersecurity frameworks. • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
