Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a Construction-related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • A minimum of five years of related experience in the areas listed under the essential duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be a licensed professional engineer or architect.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of close vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus, with reasonable accommodations available.
Responsibilities
  • Successfully manage assigned projects to meet customer programs and expectations and the firm's mission and vision.
  • Understand project scope, goals, limitations, customer goals, and customer expectations.
  • Communicate with customers, customer assignees, design teams, construction administration teams, contractors, and involved agencies.
  • Develop project scopes of work when required.
  • Prepare project proposals and contracts in accordance with firm policies.
  • Plan projects, including activities, schedules, milestones, and cost projections over time using company platforms.
  • Establish, communicate, distribute, manage, and control project budgets and report timeline status accounting.
  • Request staff allocation to fulfill project requirements.
  • Convey customer and firm expectations to team members.
  • Lead and manage projects and the firm's staff and consultants.
  • Control and coordinate projects, teams, and customers while maintaining quality, profitability, reputation, and customer expectations.
  • Practice risk management throughout projects.
  • Prepare Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Division I of the Specifications.
  • Motivate and mentor teams in conjunction with project technical leads.
  • Maintain project documentation, files, and records using company processes and tools.
  • Assist project controls specialists and accounting with timely and accurate invoicing and accounts payable.
  • Promote customer satisfaction in accordance with the customer's and firm's mission.
  • Deliver or exceed customer expectations in accordance with contractual obligations and firm policies, including quality and profitability.
  • Provide activities and documentation necessary to close out projects.
  • Maintain the firm's project database for assigned projects.
  • Assist with marketing in accordance with the firm's marketing plan and policies.
  • Assure project quality and attend Quality Control Review sessions.
  • Supervise assigned Project Control Specialist.
  • Promote communication, cooperation, and quality among staff.
  • Visit construction sites to review, monitor, and report progress and perform construction administration duties, including attending site meetings, reviewing RFIs, preparing ASIs and PRs, and preparing status and progress reports.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and check work when required.
  • Represent the firm professionally and comply with project-specific standards, practices, and quality requirements defined in the BRPH Project Management Manual.
